Washington, D.C. (May, 7 2024) — Bell’s Reines is proud to announce its launch as the first D.C.-based, woman-owned and Black-owned gourmet cookie company. The mother daughter duo, Angel Thompson-Cephas and Teneisha Bell-Thompson, have curated a special menu with more than 8 specialty flavors with gluten free and vegan options. Each small-batch cookie is baked by hand using the highest quality of nut free ingredients with no artificial flavors or added preservatives.

Bell’s Reines wants customers to be able to “Savor The Small Things” and satisfy one's sweet tooth in moderation by providing a treat that is less than 100 calories and Non-GMO Project Verified. The current cookie collection ranges from classics like snickerdoodle and chocolate chip to more unique flavors like matcha white chip and lemon. Customers can shop the snack packs and assorted cookie tins directly on Bell’s Reines website, all of which are delivered straight to your doorstep.

Bell’s Reines’ mission is to honor the legacy of Thomas Roosevelt Bell, Jr., the beloved patriarch of the family. Inspired by his lifelong love for sweets, it’s with deep reverence for his memory that Bell’s Reines (French for queens) was named. The entire team at Bell’s Reines is dedicated to spreading love and happiness through every delicious gourmet cookie they bake, believing that life is sweet & we all should savor the small things.
